The Medi-CaSE COST Action is pleased to announce two international Training Schools taking place in 2026, aimed at strengthening expertise and capacity in cancer screening programmes.
The Training School “Data Monitoring and Evaluation within Cancer Screening Programs” will be held in Turin (Italy) from 6–8 July 2026 and will focus on improving participants’ ability to monitor, evaluate, and harmonize evidence-based screening programmes for breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer across diverse health systems.
The Training School “Radiographers Training in Mammography Technical Procedures in Breast Cancer Screening” will take place in Ljubljana (Slovenia) from 21–25 September 2026 and is designed to strengthen the technical competencies of radiographers, with particular emphasis on quality assurance and mammography positioning in screening programmes.
Both Training Schools will include theoretical and practical sessions, promote interdisciplinary exchange, and provide financial support through reimbursement of travel and accommodation expenses.
Participation is by invitation only: expressions of interest will be evaluated and selected by the Medi-CaSE Core Group, based on applicants’ background, motivation, and potential contribution to cross-border collaboration.
